Legendary blues guitarist, Jim Byrnes, began his career in 1964 at the age of 13 and performed professionally for the first time in 1964. Since that time, he has received 18 music awards starting in 1991 with Blues/Gospel album of the year, followed by two Juno awards for blues album of the year, one in 2006 and the other in 2011. He's won the Maple Blues Award four times and Best Western Canadian Music Award for blues album. Truly a virtuoso of the blues who also tells a great story or two. Not to be missed.
